As our school district begins summer break, I want to take this opportunity to thank staff, parents, students and the entire community for a very successful school year under very challenging circumstances.  Whether academically, athletically or in the realm of performing arts, the 2020-2021 school year was full of memorable events and achievements throughout our district, and we could not have attained these accomplishments without the help of each of you.   I’m proud to be the superintendent of such an excellent school district in this wonderful community!

Although our students and staff are on summer break, our teachers will be attending meetings and seminars throughout the summer to hone their craft; when the 2021-2022 school years begins in August the Shelby City School District will be ready to hit the ground running to continue to provide our students extraordinary educational opportunities.  During the summer, if you have questions about the upcoming school year, preschool, open enrollment opportunities or any other topic, please feel free to contact the Board office at your convenience (419-342-3520).

Have a safe and enjoyable summer; go Whippets!
