Did you know it is common for people to believe they are registered to vote, only to find out they are not?  Additionally, if you have moved or changed your name, you must update your voter registration. To confirm you are registered to vote, visit www.voteohio.gov and click on “Voter Registration Status.” 

The deadline for voter registration for the Tuesday, November 2 Election is TODAY, Monday, October 4, 2021, at 9:00 p.m. 

It’s not too late!  You can register to vote or update your registration several ways.

  1. Complete voter registration online at www.voteohio.gov.
  2. Return paper voter registration forms in person at the Richland County Board of Elections.
  3. Return paper voter registration in person at one of the following locations: Bureau of Motor Vehicles Office, Department of Human Services, Richland County Courthouse
    (recorder, treasurer or auditor’s offices) and all libraries. All area high school offices, the Mansfield City Building, Ontario Administration Building, Shelby City Hall or any village or township hall.

There will be a zero tax increase emergency renewal levy for Shelby City Schools on the ballot. If passed, this funding will be used for everyday operating costs such as teachers, utilities, supplies and textbooks. To learn more about this levy, go to ➡️
