Hello!. My name is Crystal and I work in the student services department at Madison Adult Career Center. We work with potential students interested in pursuing career and technical training after high school. Our area definitely has a shortage of skilled workers and we have several post secondary, cost effective options for training.
We are an approved Title IV school, so we can accept Pell Grants and Student Loans and there are several local organizations offering exclusive scholarships. We are seeing a younger and younger demographic choose OTCs as a pathway to their career and we’d love to partner with you to help facilitate a smooth transition for anyone interested.
Some high schools have special days/times set up for college recruiters or hold special sessions for undecided seniors. We’d love to be part of any job/resource fairs, informational booths, classroom visits or anything you have planned for your seniors as they decide what life after graduation looks like.
