Hi Mrs. Ball. I tried to message you in the app but the message repeatedly failed to send. Thank you for taking the time to meet with Makenzie’s dad and I for parent teacher conferences this afternoon. I am happy to hear Makenzie is progressing appropriately in her school work. I did not get an opportunity to look closely at her grade card during the conference but I did once we got home. I wanted to reach out and ask for some clarification regarding the “not meeting expectations” marks she got in work and social habits—cooperates with others, shows respect for others and works independently. The only thing I heard you mention this afternoon was Makenzie at times not focusing or talking to her neighbor during class but being easily redirected and respectful when asked to stop. Could you please clarify these negative marks for me? It would be helpful for me to know the expectation so I can reinforce that at home as well.
