Mrs. Green,

I hope this email finds you well. I am very interested in applying for a teaching position in your school district. I currently am working on my Master of Arts in Education with an endorsement of integrated social studies grades 7-12. I have an anticipated graduation date of May 2020.

As a student teacher with Mount Vernon Nazarene University, I have experienced teaching both middle and high school students in diverse and inclusive environments. I am an experienced professional with a demonstrated history of detail-oriented customer service and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment and programming with students with disabilities. As an educator, my goal is to equip students with the necessary tools and knowledge to become productive and informed members of society. I believe my educational experience and passion for teaching make me an ideal candidate for a teaching position at your school.

I was hoping to drop off my resume in person, however, surrounding our circumstances, I suppose this is the next best thing. Is there a way I can send it to you? I know your current focus is on finishing out the school year and providing online learning for your school. I do, however, look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Katelyn Pugh
