Hi Tim,
I have been onboarding young individulas and I have become increasing alarmed that these teenagers are unable to sign their name. I started thinking, if they can not sign their name in cursive what else are they not able to read or understand. Would they be able to read a birthday card from their grandparents? Would they be able to read old letters that were written between family members? Would they be able to read the historic documents of our city, state and country?

I do not know when and why cursive writing was taken out or minimized in our elementary education but I believe we need to bring cursive writing and reading back.
One’s signature is important. It is legal and binding. Please feel free to contact me. Thank you! Joyce
