School Resource Officer

As of August 2024, Officer Hall serves as the School Resource Officer for the Shelby City Schools. SRO Hall has been with Shelby Police Department since July 31, 2022. Prior to this she worked for the Ohio State Highway Patrol for almost six years. As a sworn Law Enforcement Officer, she is dedicated to maintaining a safe, secure, and supportive learning environment for all students and staff. SRO Hall works closely with school administration, teachers, students, and families to address safety concerns, assist in crisis planning, and provide education on topics such as safety awareness, substance abuse prevention, and teaches DARE for 5th graders.

In addition to enforcing laws and ensuring school safety, the SRO Hall builds positive relationships with students, serving as a mentor, role model, and advocate. Through daily interactions and engagement, she fosters trust and open communication between the school community and law enforcement, aiming to make a lasting, positive impact in the lives of young people.
