Board Will Not Stay On

If it seems that the board will not stay powered on, the power cable may not be securely plugged into the board. The cable plugs into the bottom of the board, closer to the left-hand side (when facing the screen). Find the power cable, and you will also find the power switch. Turn the power off before adjusting the cable, then try to plug the cable in securely. This should fix the issue.

If the issue persists, especially if the board frequently presents a “shutting down in 5 seconds” countdown, your board may instead have a firmware issue. In that case, please send an email to the IT Helpdesk ([email protected]) with your room number, explaining the issue.
